AN INTRODUCTION

Students’ life is not only just visiting classes - the essential parts of every student’s routine is

visiting their campus, seeing friends in the cafeteria, discussing your ideas in the classroom and

living in dorms. This, however, has drastically changed just over a year ago, when the global

pandemic has forced students to retrieve to their homes and accept the new form of studying -

online learning.

Online education by itself is, beyond any doubt, not a new concept. For a long time, it has been

possible to complete your degree without getting away from your computer screen. Also, a

large number of students have already used online studying resources such as writing services

to complete their homework Still, in 2020, sitting next to friends in class has changed to seeing

their faces in small Zoom video boxes (or not seeing them at all - let’s face it, “my camera is not

working” has become a catchphrase for many students). This way, online learning changed the

students’ perception of education itself with a few significant factors involved. (Skymet

Weather Team, 2021.

The shift to online learning has ramifications not just for professors who must alter their

courses, but also for students who must adjust to a new learning environment. Educators and

parents are paying attention, and many are wondering if the shift to online education will result

in long-term effects for students once they leave the classroom. The influence of the transition

to online learning on students' health and sleeping habits is one of the most significant

implications.

There are a variety of reasons why online courses have become such a popular form of online

learning in higher education. For people who would otherwise have limited access to education,

the online environment provides unprecedented opportunities, as well as a new paradigm for

instructors in which dynamic, high-quality courses may be established. The fundamental

benefit of asynchronous online learning is that it allows students to engage in high-quality

learning settings when distance and schedule make on-the-ground learning difficult to

impossible. Students can attend classes from any location in the world as long as they have

access to a computer and an Internet connection. In addition, The Virtual Classroom is available

seven days a week, 24 hours a day. Another advantage of online learning is its ability to save

time. Also, access to resources and creative teaching were other benefits of online learning.

On contrast, there are weaknesses in the usage of this medium that can jeopardize the success

of any online program. Firstly, Lack of access, whether it be for economic or logistic reasons,

will exclude otherwise eligible students from the course. This is a significant issue in rural and

lower socioeconomic neighborhoods. Secondly, some conditions make it difficult to implement

an online program successfully. Administrators and/or faculty members who are averse to

change and working with technology, or who believe that online programs cannot provide a

high-quality education, frequently stymie the implementation process. These individuals are a

significant flaw in an online program since they can sabotage its success.

Finally, to be successful, any online program's curriculum must be carefully examined and

prepared. In the rush to build distant education programs, many institutions neglect the value

of the curriculum and the necessity for qualified people to develop it. Curriculum and teaching

methods that work well in a classroom setting may not always work well in an online setting,

because the learning and instructional paradigms are very different. The usage of dialogue

among students (in the form of textual communication) as well as group interaction and

participation must be included in online curriculum. Traditional classroom lectures have no

place in an online program that succeeds. High-quality education may and will be offered

through an online program if the curriculum has been established or modified to match the

needs of the online medium

THE DISCUSSIONS

Online Learning Increase Your Grades. (66.2%)

A common benefit found in online courses is that students learn more than just course content.

Today a large number of students use online courses especially in Corona pandemic. Weiner

(2003) found that online learning significantly improved writing and computer skills in Cyber

Schools in America. This study revealed that the key to successful online learning for adolescent

students lies within motivational issues and highly structured courses. Additionally, the results

of this research indicate that adolescent students are ready to learn in cyberspace if they are

able to commit to their education and if the appropriate support and guidance is available to

them, especially from their teachers.

Online Learning Can Keep Efforts and Time. (64%)

Focusing on efforts and time and money which will be consumed by online learning courses it

is less and more effective because all students and teachers are interesting in and satisfied

enough to obtain their goals according to Bartolic-Zlomislic and Bates (1999) study found that

instructing (and learning) in the online format appeared to be time consuming. This was mainly

due to the large amount of reading (discussion forums) and writing. Instructional time varied

depending on how the online discussions were handled. Novice online instructors needed extra

time and training. Students also perceived interacting online to be time.

consuming (Taylor, 2002). However, for the lecturer this interaction occurred at the expense

of efficiency because mediated one-to-one interactions, such as e-mail interchanges, were

easily initiated by students and were very time-consuming.

The Dateline of The Assignments via Online Courses were Enough. (55.9%)

The tasks, assignments and quizzes via internet services are easier now so a lot of students who

use internet and technology are mastered and proficient, also Some technological

developments have opened new possibilities for organizational chaos, while others have made

lives more complex (Murgatroyd, 1992). With the development of online courses and programs

comes the need to revise current policies and procedures to accommodate the online student

and the online process All this leads to a much-higher-than anticipated amount of time spent

on administrative tasks and, consequently, unanticipated costs

Online Learning Create an Educational Environment That Keeps Pace with The Technical

Requirements of The Age. (55.8%)

On the contrary, a limitation to investment in online learning firstly desires substantial start- up funds for faculties. Most faculties may not be able to afford such risks. It also needs additional

time for faculty to learn how to use these new technologies.

Online Learning Helps You to Access the Information That You Need. (55%)

Students also need to learn to study effectively online. Variation in student abilities, such as

different stages of group development and limited language skills, may limit the progress of

individuals and teams in online courses. Also, time lags in e-mail communication and delays in

feedback due to asynchronous classrooms could prove frustrating and discouraging to student

learning. Students need to be psychologically ready and financially able to embrace this method

of course delivery.

Your Success Rate Increase as Result of Use Online Courses. (55%)

Technology is changing the face of education and online learning offers much to learn about

and many interesting opportunities. These opportunities may complicate faculty life until

members are adequately trained.
