A trapped animal may turn around and attack its hunter when desperate. As loss of hope may
produce an unprecedented response, the arising question is whether desperate human
leaders may act fiercely not only against enemies but also against their own population (ref.
1). Kim Jong Un, dictator of North Korea, provides a typical example of a fanatic personality
ready to sacrifice his people just to maintain his control over the country and divine position,
as well as his hedonistic life-style. By establishing a huge military arsenal including nuclear
abilities, he is quite successful in deterring international efforts to save his people from
poverty or weaken his dictatorship. Besides its citizens, the North Korean regime pressurizes
mainly South Korea and Japan, but it actually jeopardizes the entire world. Since military
restrain of such a regime may ‘push it over the edge’, in lacking sense of morality and care for
human life, Kim Jong Un, who feels secure due to the support of China, is able to retaliate with
his nuclear power, which might initiate a World War. Another extreme regime that holds its
people hostages of religious fanatics with colonialistic aspirations is that of the Iranian
Ayatollahs. By establishing a powerful security belt to avoid any attempt of revolution, and
additional Shia forces outside Iran (in Syria, Iraq, Lebanon and Yaman) they threaten Saudi- Arabia, the Gulf-Principalities, Egypt, and actually the entire Middle-East, particularly Israel.
This regime also relies on a massive military arsenal and is supported by treaties with Russia,
China and North Korea (part of the ‘Axis of Evil’). In fact, despite the initiation of a Jihad that
jeopardizes the entire world, the Iranian regime has succeeded thus far in deterring Western
efforts of its restrain. Notably, although nearing a nuclear capability, this regime can still be
impeded without risking the entire world, which requires common efforts of Western
superpowers before it passes the borderline of nuclear threat. Another regime that quite
surprisingly may currently endanger the entire world is that of Israel. Ever since the October
7 invasion of Hamas terror organization to Southern Israeli villages, slaughter, torture, rape,
and kidnapping of innocent Israelis living near the border of the Gaza strip, the state of Israel
retaliated by opening a war against Hamas.
However, the entire Arabic world as well as despicable mobs have initiated an antisemitic
offensive (ref. 2) as well as a massive international pressure on Israel. The pressure is
accompanied by attempts to delegitimize Israel’s existence and rights over its land, while
ignoring (even denying) the proven barbarian acts of Hamas on October 7. As long as the risks

to Israel were previously limited to the surrounding Arabic countries, the pressures were
somehow endured despite a number of wars (e.g., the 1948 independence war; the Sinai war
against Egypt in 1957; the 1967 war against a coalition of Egypt, Syria and Jordan; the 1973
Yom Kipur war against Egypt and Syria; and the 1982 and 2006 wars against Hesbollah in
Lebanon), but the present Iran-supported war enforced by Hamas and Hesbollah terror
organizations exposed a new reality of extreme anti-Israeli (anti-Zionist) international
offensive with rigorous worldwide demonstrations financed mostly by Qatar and other Arabic
countries, and... as strange as it sounds... backed by the United Nations (which seemingly lost
its ethic principles and aims). The vicious demands to dismantle the Israeli army and wipe off
the Jewish state may lead to an unprecedented desperate response of a small, yet powerful
nation. By pushing Israel to the corner of existential risk, and considering the historical suffer
of the Jewish people for thousands of years, and the periodical occupations of Israel by
various enemies (Assyrians, Babylonians, Persians, Greeks, Romans, Arabs, Fatimides, Seljuk
Turks, Crusaders, Ottomans, Egyptians, Mamelukes, various Islamists, and Britain), and the
extermination of six millions by the Nazi’s during WWII (the Holocaust), the fears of the
Israelis and increased desperation can be understood. Moreover, the worldwide
demonstrations against Israel ever since October 7 2023, have exposed hidden aspirations of
the Islamic Jihad supported by the Hamas and their patron (Qatar), as well as unexplained
hatred and prejudice ideas against Jews. Although the alleged aim of these demonstrators is to
stop the war in Gaza and save life of ‘innocent’ Palestinians, the actual objectives of the Islamic
organizers is to blur the barbarian attack of Hamas on pieceful Israeli villages, and exploit the
opportunity to delegitimize the right of the Jewish nation over its homeland. The organized
demonstrations, especially in the US campuses expose tremendous ignorance of American
students and their vague idea about the United Nations decision in 1947 followed by the re- establishment of Israel in 1948, not to say its geographical location, historical background,
and the ludicrous veracity behind the Palestinian claims (ref. 4). This is a risky situation
considering the developed technology and exceptional scientific capabilities of Israel. The
ancient biblical story about Samson, who killed himself while destroying his Philistine
enemies (ref. 3), might return in a modern version. The possibility of losing their only
homeland to offspring’s of Beduins and Arabic refugees (named nowadays Palestinians; ref.
4), may ‘push the Israelis over the edge’ to commit a Masada-like suicidal act, namely, ‘if we
go, we take the entire world with’. Notably, such a move must not necessarily be associated
with use of nuclear power, but other ways of colossal destruction, such as a slight twist of
Earth or the Moon from their orbits, or initiation of an earthquake that covers Earth with
poisonous compounds and dust to eliminate photosynthesis (ref. 5), or developing a matter- antimatter device, all leading to catastrophic results with no hopes for resilience.
